Can anybody help me with how much my car is worth. I love my punto and it never misses a beat, its just I've got my dream car now a classic mini =].
The car is a Mk2 2003 (03) Punto.
It's done just over 40,000 miles and has a new MOT and about 3 months tax.
The car is completely standard and the paintwork is in immaculate condition except for a scratch on the bonnet. Does anybody have any idea how much I should be asking?
I was thinking about an estimate of £2500 or is that unreasonable?
Thanks

EDIT: just had a new battery, and 2 new tyres.

£2000 ish id say you canget standard one pretty cheap but its the condition that holds its value.

I used to have a Classic Mini.
Noisy, harsh ride, cramped, uncomfortable seats, hand brake useless, fuel consumption and handling good in its day but rubbish today. Corrosion is a serious headache they were never designed to be easily rust-proofed. In a crash they are a nightmare, you would be safer on a motorbike.

However they have hoooge character. Get one as a weekend project, but don't even think about it as a day to day transport.
I have a 1977 Suzuki GT750 motorbike, the only 3 cylinder watercooled 2 stroke bike ever made. I love it, but its a toy. Daily transport - no way. To put that into perspective the classic Mini was designed in 1959 and hardly updated ever after.
