Hi,
I got a problem which has been on going since i brought the car a few months back.
I had to replace the ECU as it was faulty, it would never read a engine temp below 79oc, despite all other sensors reading correct running temp.
I had the new ECU fitted which reads correct temp, never been seen going above 70oc.
The other day though i was driving and the EML came on with P0115 Engine Temp Circuit Malfunction as the error code. This was the problem i had with the old ECU and resulted in the engine fan running constantly.
When the EML came on with this ECU though despite it being the same error code the engine fan didn't run constantly.
Anyone got any ideas as to what could be cauing the problem as ECU, temp sender and the connector to the temp sender have all been replaced.
The car isn't overheating heating and runs fine.
Running out of ideas and money.
Help greatly appreciated.
