My punto is really starting to annoy me now.

Its making a whining noise (i know what it is just havnt got time just yet to sort it)
Now the exhaurst is wrattling
Clutch is on its way out
And randomley cuts out while driving.
Any body know a price on a clutch getting fixed?
And any one know why its cutting out randumly?!

Might end up getting rid of it and buying a new one !

Clutch is £200, exhaust is probably worn mountings, cheap as chips!
Cutting out even when warm and been running is it? or just when you start it up?

But nah not any specific time like, Its only happend a few it only started doing it yesterday but its done it 3 times
and everytime its been when im breaking going down hill.
Not sure if thats just a coincidence or what :S
very confused.

Perhaps to do with fuel?
How much you got in the tank?

Its got about half tank in it. ive managed to get a clutch kit now for £75 which wasnt bad like.
I though it could be the battery? havtn gotta clue tbh.

Does the mileage since you last refuelled tally with what the fuel gauge reads? Sometimes the needles get stuck. My mother ran a diesel engined car dry due to a faulty fuel level indicator.

I think the fuels fine because i put £15 in it yesterday and it was last night it cut out for the first time, so it shouldnt have much to do with that.Gotta say its the most troublesome car ive ever had haha

Can't be the battery, the car would still run, maybe slightly blocked fuel lines? You allow the petrol to go low or empty at times? Get dirt build up from the bottom of the tank if you do. Braking downhill will cause it to move forwards and block up? Just a thought

Air flow meter sticking? It's a problem on Ka's, they gum up and stick.

Yer it could be the petrol i have let it go low a few times, Just bought some of that redex stuff see if thatll do anything.
And ive just bought a airflow meter because one of my mates said that.
Hopefully once ive done that itll be snd !
