hi
i have had this error message come up on my 2004 1.2 8v dynamic punto, it says ENGINE FAILURE and since then it has started jolting/jerking ALOTTT ,,, what shall i do,
and i notice dthe choke light is staying on while im driving is that normal because i think that staretd to happen at the same time today?


any ideas on what it is :s

woops well its a yellow light? fuel mixture i think... its gone off now?

what could have triggered that?

All sorts of stuff can do it. Best to get the ECU codes read and take it from there. Just remember they only show symptoms you need to think about what's going on before changing sensors etc.

so you and mate below are saying get the ecu codes read?

how much is that going to be from fiat dealership?

now the power come back to normal and it isnt warning me anymore?

Oil & Coolant for a start... Buy a Gendan code reader for OBD2 diagnostics, about £35 I think.

well air pressure 30's all round

oil is well above half way on stick
water levels were all good

do you need to know anything else?

it seems like a good idea.. can you show me some examples of what will work with my car as i dont know much about them?
