Agreed, do all the basic checks you can, make sure everythings connected, all your fluid levels are correct etc etc.
At the end of the day you will need to get it on a diagnostics machine to read the fault code and that will tell you whats wrong.
Although its running fine at the moment, dosnt mean nothings wrong. The light must have come on for a reason, You may just be lucky and it be something simple like a sensor on the blink, but until you get the code read you wont know.
