Im having a problem with my punto on startup, it starts everytime no problem but the idle can is erratic,the problem goes if i rev it to death for 10 seconds. there is no problem with idle or power when driving normally, its just at startup, if you try and drive it from start without reving you can feel a dramatic loss of power then its fine after you have been driving 30 seconds or so. If i stop the car after its been running and start again it dosnt happen, its only if its been left more than a couple of hours.
I have changed plugs ,leads , oil , coolant , air filter, cleaned breather piper and gave the throttle body a spray of carb cleaner , all which have made no difference.
The first time i had this problem the car had been sitting for a week, it had never been left that long before.

there is no sign of oil in water or water in oil
