2 quick questions ( i hope )

1.
I had to replace one of the dipped headlight bulbs recently and decided to swap both at the same time, now i have the bulb failure light on in the dash but the lights are working fine . has anyone come across this before and how can it be fixed?

2. seeing as how the engine sump is prone to rust and mine is in reasonable condition would it be worth painting it with Waxyol underseal to prevent any further rust occurring ?

Sump no point they will always rust.

Bulbs are they the same resistance as previous ones?

hi brendan!

my mum has a punto 75 ELX was driving it one day when i got the bulb faliure light as you are saying. This means it can be any bulb on the car apart from dash lights and interior lights etc. So therefore its going to be either headlight, indicator reverse brake etc. ill give you my scenario see if its similar....
driving down a road slowing down off brakes and indicating left, no bulb warning light, as soon as i applied the brakes the bulb light comes on and then all the lights just went wacky lol. check all bulbs rplace if necessary etc
