ive looked under the bonnet and still cannot see the paint code is it located on the vin plate ??

mk2 its under the bonnet on the bonnet. mk1 its in the boot

its a mk2 and ive looked on bonnet theres no sticker is there any other way i can find it ??
It's got to be there somewhere, if not phone up Fiat with your VIN number sometimes they can give you the code from that?

theres a sticker that says fiat 188, 64r, 00d687 is that it ??
Post a picture up of the colour of the car, I have looked for the code 188 but doesn't bring anything up (only other close colours seem to be red or grey).

its red mk2 1.2 8v with the black plastic bumpers that any help mate
188 means its a mk2 that not paintcode
Is it a punto mia, and looks like a two coat (not metallic finish) solid red?

There are usually two red's for the Mk2's
On the sticker under the bonnet does it mention "tiziano?"
Tiziano Red - none metallic, which probably is yours if a solid colour.

Your probably looking at the wrong thing like I was. Its LITERALLY under the bonnet. As in its on the underside of the bonnet lid, not on a plate on the car shell.

knowing the colour is only half of it, a lot of the colours also have shades and that is indicated by a letter after the paints code number
Well I wondered about this, I knew there had to be more than 2 "reds" splattered on mk2 punto's.
Then again on top of colour and shade you have age too.
