Hii...

Can anyone tell me how can i get out injectors?? They are marked with the red on the picture. What do i have to unscrew? There is one big allen near the connector do i have to unscrew it?

Thank you!

They are held in with the allen key bolt but they sometimes seize in the head and need a special puller to get them out.

They may have a classification number on each injector and need to be replaced in the same cylinder they came out of.

Thanks Dave. I'll absolutely put them back on the same cylinder but what about that small tube that injectors are connected with? If i take it down? it is the oil in it? and whick way do i have to pull it that it will go down the injector?

The pipes should pull off the plastic connectors on top of the injectors but it is easy to break the connectors.

I'm not sure, but I think if you remove the metal clips, seen in your photo, the connectors may come off with the pipes still attached to them.

ok ok..i'll shift myself.

Now it's problem if the injectors are seized in head. Where can i buy puller?

A normal diesel injector puller is a slide-hammer screwed into the top of the injector but as the jtd injectors have no screw thread it won't work.

The only option would seem to be the Fiat special tool as below or to make something similar.

The part number of the tool from Fiat is 1870739000

ok. i will try to do something similar at home =)
In which program did you get that picture you have posted?

Hi there are many differing types of injector pulling device available on the market today, on the jtd engine the vast majority are totally useless.

i use a company which i found on ebay that comes to you and uses a pichler hydraulic puller, the puller can apply upto 20 tons of pulling force on the injector and if it don't come out then it ain't coming out.

i've found most injectors on the jtd engine to be extreemly tight and almost impossible to remove but this puller seems to have the grunt to do the job.

company ain't cheep but does the job
