Posts: 18 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re programing Body computer can any body tell me if the Body Control Unit (BCU) is reprogramable to slow down the indicator flashing speed on a MK2 Punto 1.2 8V. i've tried all other idea's such as bulbs, wattages and earth's,disconnecting the battery etc. i'm running out of ideas and i dont want to pay £300 for a new BCU.

Posts: 759 Thanks: 47 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: Re programing Body computer The place where the the data is kept would be in the nvram on the BSI (if its stored anywhere). A way round (if data is not stored) would be to to change the nvram over with a used spare and use the replacement BSI. If it is stored then it should be possible to have it reset by factor equipment. I think I have a spare BSI unit if you want to give it a go. Tony.
