hi again.
does anyone know what the dimensions are for the bumper bolts and where I can get them from? also fixings if possible
thanks
jon

M6 x 25mm will do the job as far as I remember.

Remove the bolt and take it with you as it could be an M8, although I'm suite sure they're all M6's.

if they are either m6 or m8 i cna buy some of each, they're cheap enough. do you know how many there are altogether

On a Mk2?

From memory 3 underneath, 2 at the top, 2 hidden behind the liners and 2 screws hidden behind the liners.

on a mk1, appreciate the help btw

Probably a similar amount.

For the cost of the bolts you may as well get 10+ of each and some washers, they'll always come in useful at some point.

Hi, think they are 10mm head, but with a shoulder so they don't split the plastic bumper.

Cheers Trevor.

8mm head on the mk2 if that's of any use, can't see the mk1 being much different.

hiya thanks for all the help guys but still stuck.
i went down to B&Q today and they done m6 x 50mm (no 25mm) hex bolts with washers and nuts. i was wondering if these are the right things, and if so is it ok if i cut them down to size?

thanks
Jon

It's fine to cut them to size, put the nut on the bolt threads further up than you're going to cut it. Once cut undo the nut to clear the threads, it makes life much easier.

You could always try a motor factors, they're more than likely to keep them in stock.
