Wipers are working fine on all settings but when i switch them off they return to a position about halfway up the windscreen.

Can anyone advise if this is a common fault and whether it's fixable ?

I'm guessing i will need to replace the motor but perhaps not the linkage, will try and take a look today.

i think its more likely the linkage tbh, but check both is the easiest solution

hi, i had a few problems with peoples focus,s doing this and a wiper relay fixed the problem (cost £10),

personally, if my wipers done this i would just modify the starting position so that they still sweep the full screen but are in a different position,

to be honest, i'm considering a single wiper connversion on my Mk1

im guessing they go to the bottom of the screen tho
