Hi all,.

first of many posts begging for information.

the heater controls on my mk2 hgt dont work,
nothing from 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 the aircon light comes on if i push the button in, just no blower.

is this a common problem, if so where is the first port of call on sorting the problem as the heats stiffling today and its not much fun melting in the car.

any help much appreciated.

Start with the fuse for the Fan.

Does air con light come on 1-4 and go off at 0 or is it always on. If come's on only 1-4 then I would have thought that your switch is ok

fuses are all ok,

the aircon light only comes on 1 - 4 and goes off at 0.

gonna remove the blower motor tomorrow and hardwire, see if it works like that then go from there i thinks
