does anyone kno where the revesing light switch is on a mk1 punto and a pic wont be fantastic as haynes is a bit brief on the subject

if its broke and earthing out would it cause the starter motor to function improperly as the car started yesterday and the reversing light did not work i fiddled with the switch today and the ligt now works but car wont start

Reverser light swiitch is attached on the front part of the gearbox, near the master cylinder.

thanx m8 but do u think it could earth out and stop starter motor from working
