Technical Punto II - rust in the floor pan

Thanks for the reply,
The rust is mainly on the section under the driver and passenger doors, ( near the wheel arches. ). These are the areas that caused the car to fail the MOT. The pictures below will give you an idea.

The were also a few specks of rust on the mid section of the exhaust, but the garage did not think those were a big deal.

i cant see no hole, just looks like a bit of surface rust in pics not a fail

To be honest, I am not too sure why the garage thought the car had too much rust on it. They felt the body of the car had been weakened by the amount of rust. I was surprised, as this had not been brought up in previous MOTs . I am not personally aware of any holes under the car. Maybe I should get a different garage to do the MOT?

i would, maybe its not showing well in photos but to me it looks like it dont need no more than a rub down with a wire brush, treating and painting

Specks of rust on the exhaust were even brought up? i'd get it to a different garage tbh. although i don't really know what to look for in the pics.

My friend has a n-reg punto with the same issues with the jack points 1 has a big hole on the drivers side and not so big passengers side. it was enough to fail MOT dose anyone no where i can get a floor pan from?

axle stands can got on jacking points on sills, just make sure they are not too deep as some sorts punture the sill

If i will raise the car on subframe and then put the axle in jacking point is that ok ?

be dealer only i reckon, undo carefully if they feel like they are sticking do 1 turn off half a turn back to break up and crud on the threads

i dont, if any thing i use bit of rubber mat but normally nothing
