When im driving either on normal city roads or motorway, when i let go of the steering wheel, the car just moves to the left.

Is this wheel balancing or tracking, not 100% sure?

And which ever it is, how much are they to do roughly?

Could be tracking, doubtful balancing.

Should cost youy about £20-£25 from Kwik Fit or similar place. If this doesn't cure it, might be some other suspension problem but i'd start here.

Hope this helps.

Tracking. How bad does it move? Roads have a slope to let water run off so a car will always move a little to the left if you're not holding the wheel. If it heads for the kerb like a ferret heading for a rabbit though, then you've got a problem.

it just moves to the left all the time and never straight, i got tracking done the other day but still it moves to the left, so im thinking of going back to the garage and enquiring about it

well just went back to garage and he goes that your tracking has been alligned so it cant be that, he said it maybe your suspension.

What could be wrong with it, do i need knew coils or something or just adjusting and how much am i looking at?

hi, my punto used to seem to pull slightly to the left from when I got it. When I had new front tyres fitted KwikFit did tracking and since tracking and wheel balance things have been fine. I looked at the vosa MOT history for my car and they did mention slight play the steering column on one past MOT but not to excess - so it passed fine. So you might not have a big problem.

update
My case was probably different, and I know nothing about these things but you can check MOT histories and things online or get the whole steering system checked or whatever others suggest. My tracking was 4 degrees out and last MOT didn't mention any issues so I guess my issue was not the same as yours.
