Just had my throttle body cleaned because it was near impossible to accelerate smoothly. I'd often find myself 'kangarooing'. Well, the clean has made a huge difference.

Now I'm left with one more problem to fix - the idle. My idle sits at 500rpm, but fluctuates ever so slightly. I can feel the car wobble as it does it. I wonder if the idle is too low. Can it be adjusted? If I put the air-con on, the idle increases to 900rpm and the wobble seems to disappear.

hi there was just wondering how much does that sort of thing cost ??
have some strange acceleratin problems with mine wondering weather this could help. only notice when you accelerate hard. all of sudden it sems like you down to half power you still accelrate but it slows. then it will all come back again few seconds later.

It cost half an hour's work. Well worth it for the results. It's something you can easily do yourself, but by the time you buy the cleaner, it's probably better to get somebody who knows what they are doing to do it for you.
