Hi, having problems with the speedo on my 2000 mk2, the mechanic said it migh not be the correct speedo for my car, so if anyone has had the car from new, or knows what they look like please tell, or even f possible send me some pictures, THANKS very much for your time, Dan

it could be a bad connedtion on the back of the unit.
the only problem you would get from fitting a speedo from another model is the lcd would flash if it hasn't been aligned by a dealer
thats all that happend when i put a hgt speedo in mine and the rev counter and speedo go higher than mine
