My motor still works but something maybe has snapped as the window won't go up and down. WOndering how much this would be to fix or if it;s easy enough for someone to do on own, though i have no car repair experience!

I want to sell the car next month. Probably real cheap so is it worth getting fixed still?

hi,
As you say motor, I guess you have electric windows, I have done mine as my cable snapped, but that was on normal ones. Should be same process though.

Un-do the allen key bolts in the door handle arm rest part and any screws. (Door handle itself.)

Remove the door pannel (clips off after screws are removed)

Cut open inner cover sheet. (I cut mine along the edge and stuck back with tape when I was done.

(did this a few years ago so not too clear, but with window about 2/3 up, look under neath it and there should be a plastic clip that holds it to the window. Un clip, undo the who window motor mechanism and remove.

Re-fit in reverse.

If you are unsure about anything or in my case, fear or damaging glass go to scrappy and try on there that way you dont have any damage done to own car.

Haynes manual is VERY usefull.

Regards
