Hi all. Have been given some alloys for my mk1 with the size 195/55/R15. having put them on they are rubbing against the arches, very slightly (front only on full right lock and rear just slightly as well) rather than get rid of them (cos they look brill) was looking for some spacer advice, like will i need new bolts, what mm should i get, will they work etc etc. any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

thx for fast reply.

as for the offset im not sure, they came off a fiat bravo sport (fiat alloys if that helps) so they are between 35 and 45 but i dont know, is there some way of measuring it myself?

hmmmm...normally Fiat to Fiat should fit alright.
Is the car lowered...as that may be the cause of the back rubbing....though you should be alright on 15's

Just thought I would add that if you need 10mm or bigger spacers, make sure you get hubcentric ones (yes they're more expensive, but it's worth it) or your wheels won't centre on the hub probably which is unsafe. (n)

the tyres are wrong for your car, ideally you want 195/45/15", i think you can get away with 195/50/15" you can get these quite cheap

yeah this is true, but i didnt realise this when i got them

im just curious if theres another way of gettin them to fit
