hiya guys, just brought a nice little w reg Punto HGT, all seems great, no electrical problems everything works as it should, no suspension knocking, engine rev's sweet as! only thing is when i lock the car i'm getting the alarm beep but then after it another beep, must be the alarm not setting somwhere but iv checked all the door's etc! any idea's?? (ill post some pics after i wash her tomorow!)

If you still get a beep from the alarm after you have armed it means that there is a door / boot / bonnet thats open, check the wireing to make sure there are no loose connections

if that fails then either try replacing the connections or go see an auto electrician to get it tested

Might be an idea too to check for any corrosion on the contact points too of the boot lock and doors as this can sometimes contribute to 'gremlins in the machine'. As mentioned already though a second beep should only happen if one your doors are not shut properly. Congrats on bagging the HGT, you will have soooo much fun, I know I do lol!
