What is best treatment for black bumpers, Tried 'son of a gun' , washed off too quick

try black boot polish

some people reckon using a heat gun on them lightly will bring the shine back out and it actually lasts a while too.

Till I get my sporting bumpers sprayed, I'm using Autoglym Bumper Care. Really does a great job, stays on for much longer than any of that spray on crap, even in this rubbish weather.

well it doesn't just bring the shine back
it brings the black back dramatickly in front of your eyes

and i did it a year ago now and not a bit of fadige

in theory it will last as long as they did in the first place as you are just brining the original plasticiser to the surface

Hi All,
Tried the heat gun on front bumper, great on top section! lower section very mottled and gray. Will give Auto Glym a go.
