Its the only one I can find that looks like the picture in the photo But despite all my squeezing - nothing comes out this one - just the top one???? Also this one at the rear is no where near the radiator its behind the engine is this right?? ![]()

Posts: 348 Thanks: 46 Trader Rating: 0 | re: bleeding cooling system, 8v & 16v petrol engines will try and get some pics, but on the 1.4 16v MK2B ive been working on, the bleed screw on the heater hose is non existant. instead it has a rubber hose that goes over the top of the inlet manifold, down the left hand side.. and goes into the radiator about half way up under the minimum and maximum marks.. presumebly to self bleed itself.

Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | My Punto N reg was overheating and I realized the radiator was empty. I've filled it up and the car stopped the overheating. 1 week later it started overheating again and for my surprise the radiator was almost empty again. Then I took the car to a garage and they changed the water pump and cam belt. When I got the car back it wasn't overheating anymore but 2 weeks later when the weather got really cold I tried to use the heater and my heating wasn't working anymore. I've checked the the radiator coolant level again and it was quite empty again (under the minimum level). Then I've followed this tutorial, filled the radiator to the top (Exact 3L of coolant) , opened both bleeding screws, turned engine on, then waited it to bleed a bit and closed it again. Then I've turned on the heater and yes it started working perfectly again. ![]() Thanks so much for this tutorial, is really easy to follow and works like a charm, I'm a female and I did it in about 20 min.
