I've not seen any mention of this in the guide, but eye protection should be used when tugging springs with pliers. A friend of one of my friends apparently lost an eye when needlenosed pliers slipped off the springs..... Other than that, a good guide. Many thanks

We're trying to replace our Mk1 Punto rear brake cylinder but can't get the nut off the back that connects the brake line. It's made of really soft metal and has gone round in our spanner  What can we do?Any help most appreciated... we've spent a week on him so far and it's been tricky at every step. The forum's been great.
