Fiat JTD crank/ RPM sensor removal and replacement

Can you tell me how easy it is to fit new glow plugs to a Doblo 1.9 Multijet? Any shortcuts, special tools?

I am facing a problem in my Fiat Palio 1.9 D ELX model, the engine was overhalled by the bosch service centre from there my car is not starting when it is warm. When the engine is cold the car starts normaly but once its get heated if i cut off the engine and if i start it, it won't start it will give noice like battery low but the battery is full charged, I have to leave the car for 30min to get cool and if i start now it will get start.

This problem is giving more problem in city traffic and don't what could be the issue.

Can any help me what could be the problem and how to fix it?.

Is it the same as the Crank shaft sensor?.

A very big thank you to A1ant for his fantastic posting and idiot-proof instructions - my car is mended and crossing the 140,000 mile mark. Without the photos I wouldn't have known where to start, though I'm now ready for keyhole surgery - very fiddly. Crankshaft position sensor still only slightly more than £30 including P&P from shop4parts.co.uk - v. good value - saved me a fortune.

Brilliant thread -- saved me a pretty penny...

Basically my 02 plate Doblo cargo had done 232,000 miles on its original crank sensor... Was cutting out on the motorway and then got progressively worse then began doing it when it got up to temperature.

Changed the crank sensor and hey presto the ole girl is back on it like sonic ... Local superfactors did me the sensor for 26 quid...

sorry to resurect a thread but im having real ag with my scudo 20 jtd 110 cutting out ive replaced my low pressure pump, injectors cam shaft sensor filters (all) aaaaarrrggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!
and i cant find the cnuting sensor for the crank its not at the back under the started as the started is at the front and its not below it anyways.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Well cnuting van that didnt work either. Back to the drawing board

Ok dropped the van to a bosch diesel specilist and the outcome.................
Failed drv valve in hd pump £124 later and fingers crossed fixed. I hope. Oh and the crank sensor was on the top of the gearbox under the thermostat housing.

I Hope this is of some help to someone and please if fiat forum dont want there website on this link i will edit the video asap and remove it
