Posts: 17 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Hello ,Thank you very much for your artcle . I have a problem with the time belt and since you know so many things about the time belt, i hoped you could help. I had parked my car and removed all the fuses from the fuse box because my car would stay still for three weeks and i did not want it to be stollen. Because of the municipal had decided to make some works in the road my car was moved without me to be informed, in another place. After i came back i have found out that the box which contains the timing belt had oil on it, especially from the screw and its top . Does this tracking of my car could cause a damage to my motor so oil to leak in the timing belt box? This is a big damage and costs to be fixed. If i could prove that the two incidents are connected then i could make an accusation to the state and be compensated. Can you give me any idea that could help me prove that i am right?

Just a quicky, my '98 Cinquecento Sporting seems to be having the same problem, any idea whether a quick dabbing of some lithium grease would do the deed? Or is it completely sealed (the tensioner)? Really don't want to spend any more money at the local garage :P
