As long as u put the new ones in the same why the old ones came out as they are polarity conscious. I try it on my sporting dials and got the same problem the speedo and rev counter light up but the fuel and temp dont, i think the problem is that the new lights use to much power,

they are LEDs so the right polarity is cruicial. They cant use more power than the originals.

Forgive my ignorance, do you need to replace the original black dials with a white dial kit? Im comfortable enough with the soldering (Ive worked in electronics manufacturing for 22 years) if it will work with the original black dials, I would prefer that, and will it peel off in a good enough state for it to be refitted?

Would appreciate input from anyone who has done this, also light output/part no's for led's used.

How do you make sure the needles go on correct? Why must you have a full tank of fuel? Is it possible to put them back on wrong because when ignition is off the needles all go down to zero anyway??

Do you know what size SMD LEDs you need for this? Or do you need to take it off to see on the car?

what doesn't work about it? I want to do as you did, keep original black dials just change the orange smds with blue for dials and LCD.

Do you really need a full tank of petrol and to plug the dials back in once the two big needles are removed as in guide?
