Hey Guys
I have a punto tjet 1.4 2009.
I was thinking about buying a haynes manual. Now the book says it does not cover tjet, but u was thinking of getting it for such things as alternator belt.change and the transmission, as I was.hoping they are fairly similar and allow me to do such work?

Does anyone know if my thinking is correct on this or would I be wasting my money?

Thanks

get a used one from ebay / gumtree etc.. ;)

personally - I wouldn't pay more than £8 as in my opinion they are seriously lacking in detail

not all g-boxes, not all engines, not all trim options...

Got my last week, 13 pounds from Ebay.
It lacks of details (it does not say what kind of tools you need, where bolts are located etc.)
And I must admit, quality of the paper and pictures is bad. Not worth the money. Would not pay more that 8 quid. I thought it was 1960s black and white magazine when it arrived by post.
It helps me (before I start I know if I will be able to do it on my own)but if you are a total amateur you will get lost in some places.

For anyone looking at thus. Yes a haynes manual is only worth say 8 pound, BUT they have an on demand digital section which has videos and colours images for less than a new book. So something to look at whilst making a decision
