Hello!
I'm new on the forum, so pardon me if this has been posted already but I have a slight problem with my Fiat Punto Evo 2012 and wondering if someone have the same problem and have fixed it somehow.
When I disconnect the factory stereo, and replace it with a custom one (the custom one is from 2007) it doesn't work. The stereo just stays black, but after connecting the cables at the back, the CD Drive spins for a few seconds and then it's dead.
My question is, can a stereo (some old HP from 2007 [1-DIN]) be too old for a newer car, like the Fiat Punto Evo from 2012?
I've tried connecting the stereo directly to the fiat cables and with a connector-thingy but nothing works.
Do I need to buy a newer stereo?
