I am a little confused how to change these ?
The manual states
(A) undo and withdraw bottom bolt
(b) under wheel arch under two nuts
Withdraw Shock
that looks straightforward enough

Now when I look at the images of shocks online, it look as though the top shaft has a thread
So what is this thread for ? (Europarts item)
In my previous vehicles (corsa) the thread would have gone through into the boot to be retained by a nut. But in my Evo this doesnt seem to apply

Your diagram shows this nut again
I am wondering, after withdrawing the shock onto the workbench whether you have to dismantle it, remove and fit the Europart image and then put the refurbished assembly back onto the car

SEARCH the GP section. As lots of people will have done the job..
might even be an AndyRKett GUIDE.
