I've had my evo about 3 years and since we bought it the start/stop has been iffy to say the least. Well the other day I was repairing a window regulator (not worth the aggro just buy a new one btw) with my stereo on and I forgot to turn off the interior light. (You can see where this is going) and 3 and half hours later I've no power. So I got a jump from my dad's motor and low and behold the start/stop has worked ever since.

Any ideas why? Maybe give it a try lol ?

May have reset it's memory after being dead. Similar to a 'did you try turning it off & on again' method ?
