I have a problem with the start n' stop system on my punto evo 2010 , after one sec of stop on red lights it turns on, the state of battery is ok, it meets the requirements as said in the handbook of operating conditions...i suppose the problem is with the min voltage level it allows it to stay off, falling below it automatically turns on the engine, it is a bit high the allowance level in my opinion. Does anyone here have an idea whats that minimum in voltage (like 12.4~12.6 V) ? Can i tune/reprogram/change it to make the level 12.3 V for example? P.s: My tests were like this : 1.when car off (engine, radio and lights off): 13.4V 2.when car on (engine ,radio and lights on) : 14.3V and 3. when engine off , but radio and lights on : it drops rapidly from 12.6 to 12.4 ( i suppose its the same situation on red lights!?!). Any idea anyone? Thank you.

hi, :)
thinking I'd get a replacement battery under warranty I mentioned poor S/S operation at service time..,
they cleared @1300 error messages , and it worked perfectly:eek:

errors were from starting engine without seatbelt plugged in..!!:bang:

apparently it's part of S/S systems conditions..,

Wow too much errors ?, no mine didn't have any error logged , it was free of errors. Maybe the replacement of battery may solve it if it's more "powerful" , but when it is still healthy the actual one it's pitty to replace , too much garbage for the earth ? ...maybe there is a different solution.
