Hello guys,

As we all know, Fiat uses some rather unusual radiator hose clips which the removal procedures can be troublesome.

I'm going to change my coolant, but the radiator drain plug has its hex stripped and the plug has somewhat fused with the radiator.

The only way to drain the old coolant is through the bottom hose, but getting in the way is a hose clip that I had never encountered.

I've taken a picture of the hose clip numbering the steps to remove it. Just need to confirm with you guys if that's correct.

1. Prise the 2 sides apart using a slotted screwdriver.

2. This will in turn loosen the part labelled 2.

3. Once part 2 is loosened, slide the strip to loosen the entire clip.

I believe this will damage the clip hence it's got to be replaced with standard jubilee clips.

Any comments?

Thanks in advance.
