Rear drivers side passenger footwell flooded with water today.

No other footwell in the car is wet, but there was a pool of water there this afternoon. I can't figure out where its coming from? Nothing on the seats, nothing on the plastic around the area, just the footwell carpet, which has a small pool of water on it.

Any idea what it could be?

check in the boot under the carpet.
also maybe you had a bottle of water in the boost and it was driping.

Door seal or rear light unit seal

Thanks for the suggestions guys, have checked this and can't find anything. Luckily I have warranty still on it so I'm going to check that and get them to have a look.

Took it to the garage today and it turns out that the window regulator had been replaced at some point and when this was done, the weather proofing membrane in the door was ripped and not replaced. This led to the water running to the wrong place on the door and into the footwell.

So part ordered and back in on Monday to be repaired. Great service so far from Arnold Clark in Stourbridge, a free visual inspection as well so really can't fault the service so far from them, its been brilliant.

First real rain today since the work on Monday, and unfortunately I don't think it's fixed. The carpets were already wet, but I dried them out a bit and as it's raining now, I think they are becoming wetter. I guess in a few hours with this rain i'll know more.

Further update on this. The front drivers side is wet also. After heavy rain yesterday, i had a good poke around and under the front drivers side carpet is very wet. So tomorrow (When its light again) i'm going to remove the front scuttle and see if there's anything a miss there.

Try to inspect doors seal, compare with other side, just to be sure they are in good shape/nothing is missing.
