Hi all, 1.6 multi jet owner here.. Didn't realise how thin on the ground we are and how rare of a vehicle it is!

Just a few questions, I've been driving this car for 12 months and need some advice.
Which tyres would anyone recommend? I'd prefer ones which have a good EU fuel economy rating but also has good grip and low road noise (picky I know, but my tyres are awfully loud and it drives me mad)
Is there any way of reducing wind noise inside the cabin? Can't get over 45mph before the wind noise is too loud!
Lastly, any neat styling mods I could add? Mud flaps, door guards etc..

Thanks,
Scott

I'm on original tyres however the noise might be for to them being very thin!

Not sure if your break callipers are painted but it's a neat finish on mine, along with the blacked out rear windows.

I'm looking for a dual exhaust so that I can have two double exhaust tips but I'm not having much look,
Not sure if it's even possible.

I'm also looking to add an induction kit but finding that difficult to find a decent one which will fit this model at a reasonable price.

Thanks for the replies! I'll take a look at wind deflectors for sure.

Wilkie, I've got exactly the same model as you have in the same colour. Calipers are painted red, its looks neat. Don't think the exhaust plan is possible, you'd need a replacement rear bumper. I've looked at induction kits and intercoolers myself, couldn't find anything. I can find hardly any modifications or accessories regarding this model, probably due to its rarity!! I have had mine de-cat, dpf removal, and dyno tuned. Currently running at 400nm torque and 185 bhp... It pulls like a train and leaves BMW drivers for dead! Haha. Will need an uprated clutch soon enough though I imagine

That is smart!
I think I might get mine tuned for that kind of BHP!

I'm already aware that I can leave all those vauxhall corsa's (all models) behind in the dust however leaving a bmw now that sounds good!!
