Hi all,

After an unfortunate incident involving the dogs teeth from hell, I find that I am now driving around with an MOT failure and am in need of a new centre rear inertia seat belt. (the bottom bits OK).

Now that (after a quick trip to pets at home) the creature from the dark lagoon is wearing Hanibal Lecter facial wear when in my car to prevent the seats going the same way as the belt (and my Blue manuals folder/books), I have a little over a month to replace the belt.

Does anyone know the part number of it?

2010 Evo 5 door 1.4 Dynamique - Black belt.

Also where I can find one at little cost?
I can see something on Ebay but not sure its the same one yet.

Cheers,
E.S.

Cheers, I'll also try the local scrap yards.

I take it that its the same as the std punto, the grande etc.

I thought that it its supposed to be factory fitted then it has to be there & part of the test.

Assuming I do get a new belt, how the heck do I fit it?

It appears to be inside the split rear seat itself?

Can I remove the centre seatbelt full stop?

Anyone?

I cannot find any reference to how to do this elsewhere.

Or how do I remove the seats?

FWIW I found a replacement 10 miles away.

Note to anyone buying a centre belt via ebay - not all center belts are the same, mine had a slightly wider top on the clip that goes into the buckle so I had to change the buckle too.
