Hi Guys,

Im fed up with blue and me in my Punto Evo 2010 randomly deciding it doesn't want to play my music, so am looking at fitting an aux cable in.

After looking around the only Aux cables I can find don't work with blue and me Puntos?

Is there a place that anyone can point me to where I can get hold of an aux adapter that is compatible with the blue and me system?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks Guys.

Its either one or the other I believe as the B&M goes into the headunit using the Aux port at the rear.

Ditch the B&M, its clumbersome.

Best bet would be to replace the whole headunit with a far better speced aftermarket one which does all that you want it to do (y)

kimber Hi, when you say unit won't play music, its from which source ?

Blue and Me works great in my car and in others cars.
Care should be took to choose a USB key that works great (not too slow, good maker - it's not the 8-16GB USB key that cost a lot in car budget) and not bigger than 32GB.

Its from the USB source, I actually posted another thread on the issue! The system recognises my music, in terms of it comes up with the song name, but it doesn't actually produce any audio. Its because of that I want to fit an Aux cable in, I'm fed up of it deciding when and when it doesn't want to play my music! Im wondering if it was a dodgy update thats caused it and want to reset the system, but i don't have a radio code...

You can do an update without the radio code.
Which version do you have `?

What format on audio files do you use ?

Fitting an audio cable is not the best solution, because you lost the control of files, the names of songs, etc.

Have you tried with another USB key ? With a small numbers of simple MP3 at 128-256kbps CBR ?
