Hi guys,
I'm an owner of Punto Evo and I have some doubts regarding my Dualogic gearbox, I have a bad feeling that it's not from my car but was changed for another older one by the cheating dealer before selling to me.
How could I know the Dualogic serial number and is there any way to find out what serial number of gearbox was installed by the manufacturer? Is there any connection to the engine number or factory number? It's the only info I have from the ePer...
P.S. Sorry for my bad English.

Hello !

You car is new ? If all is new except the gearbox you will si it... shiny engine and old gearbox.

If you can PM me your chassis number, I can tell you the part number you should have in your car. But no serial number that say "it must be this one".
And you have to find the part number on your actually fitted gearbox...

I bought the new car and used it for almost year, when gearbox started leaking oil and spamming me with unavailable gear errors, due to the non low-temperature-proof seals (It's common problem for fiat when winter is -20-25 C)
Only then I found some indirect proofs that my gearbox may be older than the rest of the car: clutch rod is too worn-out, oil tank cap is obsolete design without pressure valve, wrong seals (they should be made of polyurethane and be winterproof), and worst of all - signs of some repairs I not aware of (and some are stupid and critical).
My VIN is ZFA19900001746545, but I already know part numbers for my car, I can use ePer :)
I need to know any way to find out Dualogic manufacturing date, it's serial number and what gearbox was installed on the factory. I have some photos, but i don't know what is serial and what is manufacturing date.
Here they are:

Was going to write to the Fiat Support, but can't find the web form on the fiat.com, however I'm sure I saw it few months ago...

And I afraid it was taken from another car or after capital repairs and put into my car, so real mileage is about 30k instead of mine 5k (that's how badly clutch rod looks). Maybe they desperately needed new gearbox for repairs and the only source was new car waiting for another "lucky" customer. This can happen in Ukraine.
