Does anyone know what bulb types i need to replace my DRl's and Sidelight i want white leds i think the sidelights are 501 but not sure about the drl's does my car have canbus also, thanks in advance :)

First off, your right with the sidelight bulb number, they are 501 but I would strongly suggest avoiding LED lights, regardless if "CANBUS Error free".

2ndly, I can't rightly remember what the bulb number for the DRL's are (Something like 7220) but they are W21W (Wedge fit, 21 watt).

and finally, every car from around 1998 has canbus. Its just a fancy way of connecting each ECU to eachother with only one (Or 2 in some cases) wire. Saves alot of wiring, can you imagine the size of the loom if it were otherwise (Engine ECU, ABS/ASR ECU, Dials ECU, Body ECU, EPS ECU, you get the picture).

thanks are the replacement leds that bad? i dont like the yellow tinge especially on the drls my old car was old school simple 12v dc

Get the MTEC Superwhite DRLs and sidelights, I'm sure TJ07's car has them fitted. I've got the superwhite DRL's too mine, will get a picture later this morning :)

EDIT1:
MTEC Bulbs from the trusted company HIDs-direct: clicky

well that was short lived the osram side lights started to heat mark the reflector within an hour of use so they have been relegated to the numberplate lights...... :bang:

(had my dad saying it was silly to make the lighting better on the numberplate and i ought to put 2 watt bulbs in) :worship: :ROFLMAO:
