Right, not too sure on this one but my punto has developed a knocking as if its like a CV joint failed (Just like a spicer sounds when it fails on a truck or van). Not really got the balls to go out in the bloody cold as I work all day in it. Car still under warranty but has anyone got any advice or what it could be. I won't know until the weekend.

Oh, also forgot to add, it only does it during acceleration and turning left.

If its only doing when going left and forwards it could forwell to be a CV

If it did it both ways - i'd be wary of a suspect Differential or both 2cv's

When you can - jack the car up securly - Check the driveshaft movement against the wheels turning

See if you can feel any slop/play

Check on lock for any odd movements again as above

Just not had time to get the car off the ground yet, will need to do it though, but its only doing it going left, not straight ahead which I find unusual

Turns out it was a slack engine mount lol.
