CANBus is the connection protocol between each ECU (Theres more than you think) in the vehicle. If you are attempting to fit HID's to the car, you'd be better trying the capacitor trick or buying CANBUS compatible HID's.

No canbus = no car If fitting HIDs then don't. It won't cause any issues with your car and won't blind and dazzle oncoming motorists

Could so the resistor packs but they tend to get very warm.
