New member here, in the process of negotiating for a new evo sporting up in Edinburgh to replace my 6.5 yr old punto sporting (mk3)

I'm going for style pack, chrome mirrors, colour coded side bumpers and climate control as options.

Two quick things i'm still undecided on though; colour and alloys. Not seen any 'real' pics of the 5 spoke alloys. Which ones does everybody think look better, the 5 spoke or multispoke?? Also not sure on colour - was thinking black but most of the pics i've seen seem to be in black!

Any opinions welcomed, cheers!

this is the 5 spoke and what I have ordered with mine. I have ordered the exotica red with the style pack, visibility pack and colour coded side strips and already bought the chrome mirrors from Ebay at £40.

I think these wheels look smart, the multi spokes are kinda smoked coloured and I just think they look dirty to be honest.

Cool, lets me see a 'proper' pic! Still undecided tho!

Ayshiredude - i see you are ordering from Bicekts in Kilmarnock - my parents live over there so gonna go over and see if they can match or better arnolds offer over in Edinburgh. If not I'm gonna go ahead and order tomorrow I think!

Just out of interest did they have a sporting for you to test drive at Bickets? I asked at arnold and they said the closest they had was an Abrath grande or the GP model evo and he couldn't get one to test either?

Well I got a fantastic deal at Bickets and neither Arnold nor Parks could come close to matching it. Originally I was meant to be getting the showroom model they had in which was black with the style pack however it got damaged and after a lot of hastle they are now ordering a new one from the factory. This works out well because it means I get the colour I want, the extras I want and they are guaranteeing the trade in and payments.

They have a black one in the showroom with leather interior. Just be careful that they don't try to sell you the the black one with style pack (normal interior) that I was meant to be getting as they will have resprayed the damaged side of that.

Black looks brilliant when polished up, but it is a complete ****er for needing to be cleaned, my car is lucky to go 24hrs in the driveway without people pointing out i need to clean the car, though a Sporting imo should be a pretty shouty colour to match its agressive styling.

the Exotic Red is nice, White, theres also a really nice blue,

thats the blue, cant remember what its called off top of head.

Great look forward to seeing them as thats the same colour I am getting.

Kept the standard silver multispoke alloys on my Sport (are those not standard in the UK?). Didn't want the smoked multispoke, dark alloys look too much like wheels without hub caps for my liking, but that is just imo ;).

Certainly dark colours, esp. black are impossible to keep looking clean. Plus they also tend to show up even the lightest of surface scratches. But I picked black anyway as it shows off all the trimmings around the car. :D

Mind you, if Broom Yellow had been an option on the Evo I would have gone for it. Loved my Stilo in that colour.

But hey-ho, I went over to the dark-side again.
