My 2005 fiat croma 2.2 seems to be having computer troubles.
First, the ignition lock started acting up, the key wouldn't turn in the lock. Removing and reinserting the key solved the problem, but the amount of times the key had to be reinserted seemed to increase, so I decided to leave the spare key in the lock. This seemed to solve the problem.
When I started the car this afternoon,, the problem got a lot more serious. The indicator for the hand brake is on while the handbrake is off and both the abs and engine management lights are lit. Another light, a triangle with a anti-clockwise arrow around it is also lit. And most importantly, the speedometer doesn't work and the fuel injection seems to be off (the car idles at 1000 - 1100 instead of 900 rpm). Furthermore, the trip meter of the board computer doesn't indicate any values for fuel economy, avg speed etc.
Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?
Thanks
Floyd
