Hi got various jobs to get done on the stilo i.e. lower wishbones, gearbox/driveshaft oil leak but i also have a slight oil leak on what I would of called the rocker cover on an old engine but I believe on the 1.2 its known as the extended head, its right in the front left corner (if looking at the engine from the front) near the timing belt cover.
Reading on some forums/posts it mentions that you need to remove/replace the timing belt to allow you to remove the extended head, is this the case as looking at various pictures of the head removed on the punto 1.2 engine which Ive been told is the same there dosent seem to be a requirement to do so.
Anyone done this before and if so any tips.
cheers Carl

Will try and gets ome pics tommorow

You can't remove rocker cover without remove timing belt...

Also you have to remove the inlet manifold or cut the brace that is attached to rocker cover
This is rocker cover
