Not to technical of a question I know however I am having trouble locating where to check for the power steering fluid level as the pump is making a whining noise so this is the first check I want to make. Its a Stilo 1.8 I've tried looking in the handbook no luck though.


Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah there electric on the stilos so it's likely to be either the alternator of the aircon pump.

Thank you I thought i was losing the plot I initially thought alternator, what do you think it is the bushings? As air con isn't being ran this time of year.

Get a piece of tubing. Put one end to your ear and the other end to locate the source of the noise.

Out of the two I'ld say your right it's probably the alternator bearings rumbling away.
