In line with our new "awesome events" policy, it seemed only fitting to throw a decent Xmas party this year too.
In the past, the voting and discussions for this festive event have always turned into 20+ pages of fighting over where it should be, what we should eat - and whether the roadworks on the M6 will be finished in time...
So this year, it's going to be a bit different.
Looking back over previous years events, what we did, and what worked best - we've already decided the plan - but what we haven't decided on is the date (more on this later)....
The Plan:
Jongleurs Birmingham will be the venue for the starting off of the night. There you will experience the wonder that is British comedy, eat fine food, dine on fine wine and hopefully laugh a lot
After this, your ticket will include *free* entry into Oceana where a private booth awaits all the FF Xmas guests
We'll be going with the Gold Set, which means you get a menu lineup of the following:
And also includes 3 free drinks (Beer, Wine or Soft)
The usual price for this is £44 - but the forum will subsidise each ticket, bringing it down to £35 (possibly a bit cheaper, depending on how many people turn up and what the budget turns out to be)
So to recap, for £35 - you'll get a welcome glass of bubbly, a night of Jongleurs entertainment, 3 course meal, 3 drinks PLUS entrance into Oceana with access to the FF Booth.
Sweet, right?!
You will need to be able to pay the deposit before the end of the month (sooner if possible, as we don't want the place to book out - we'll start booking places for every 10 deposits we get) so bear that in mind...
All that's left then, is to pick the date.
Please vote on all the dates you can attend, and DONT vote if you have no intention of coming....
Voting will end in 10 days time - at which point, the main thread will go up (and I expect all of you who voted for the winning date to instantly sign up!)
