Hope i've posted this in the right section but was unsure with the vast array of forum sub-sections.

On the verge of buying a 500c Abarth which obviously lacks the sat nav port as the the turbo/boost gauge is there instead.

I can't stand cables trailing along the dash so am looking at hardwiring the power supply from the back of the 12v socket to an appropriate place on the dash, but the question is where?

I know brodit to the vent clips which I can't stand and they also do one for the drivers side a pillar but wandering if vision will be slightly obscured with the mount on one side and the boost gauge on the other.

Does anyone that knows the car any better have any other suggestions?

I have done this and yes it does restrict the right corner but overall I have no problem. The only time it annoys me is if I'm driving hard and want to position the front right on the apex of a corner.
