Well today I eed to make the decision of what colour I am going to be colour coding the cinq.

Originaly the plan was to do it orange. but i decided againced this because of a lack of off the shelf orange parts. specialy engine bay bits etc.

So now the choices are :

Red

Blue

Yellow

So help me out as Ide like all of em tbh and cant decide. Im a little againced red though as ive always done my cinqs red so it seems daft not to do something different :)

Reason I need to know today is im taking the wheels off the reseal the rear arches and im gonna paint the rear drums too so they need to match the interior colour :D. will get round to doing the calipers too soon!

so vote please!

I'm voting Blue cos all the Cinq i see are either red or yellow, so seeing a blue one would be nice.

its a Fiat, it needs to be yellow.

but i really like your first idea. ok, orange isn't really available for parts off the shelf, but metal things can easily be powder coated and i'm sure hoses wouldn't be too difficult to find.

when i've used black hammerite i dont even remove the drums or leave it to dry, i just get a wire brush on the rust, then a coat of hammerite, wait half hour then get the brakes hot on the motorway to bake the paint on, it usually lasts at least a year after that and wont blister once they get hot, altho the smell is bad for a few days till its burnt in nicely. i've never even had a single drip on my alloys from doing it either, half an hour is plenty of time to wait before driving, unless your applying a coat as thick as skin. why you would want to bring attention to drum brakes i have no idea, i think they're embarrasing, i use black to hide them, wont yellow kind of draw attention to the fact that you have drums? its like sticking a fat lass in a bikini.
