was gonna get the fronts tinted donny south last year but window was so scratched they wouldnt tint it :( but i just sourced new window today (better late than never lol :D) in time for them to get tinted at donny (after i speak to the tinting guy tomorrow :))

But now cant decide... plan was to light smoke or medium smoke the fronts... but i have just been surfing on the site and found this:

cant find any better pics but its a gold/yellow to black fade  much like wimmys in thread below:

https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=28523&highlight=tints+donny

getting it done by same people (as long as i work something out) and now cant decide if to keep limo rear and light or medium smoke the fronts, or to remove the limo rear and just tint the rears... or some others? too much choice :( Ooooh and if i get the fade tint... which way round black top or bottom? :D :p

Isnt it illegal to have any tint at all on the front now?

Ive gone for light, mainly because thats what ive got (y)

Gone for light tint to the front, because of the rule of no tint to the front, to dark and you are asking for trouble:(

sure you can get away with light on front as legal, and you dont really get much police attention round here. Also sure i read somewhere as long as they're ok to see out of and fitted before new legislation came into play in 2004 then they're fine? :chin: probably 80% happy to chance medium smoke

I have medium on mine just trying to give the heads up:)

There is no protection, as far as I know, with when the tinting was done cars over this way have been pulled and had to remove front tints there and now or pay for towing and recovery, do not know if they were so dark that they were taking the pee though, also some have been lucky and just had £30 fines and still got their tints

Think it may be if the vehicle people from Swansea are around:( you have to remove them.

Steve

if i get told to remove them i'd prob do a wimmy and buy pair of non tinted windows to swap :p (What you reckon then dave? :p) am kinda leaning towards medium smoke front and keep limo rear, make front look teeny bit lighter than way maybe? :p and more money to throw at other bits :D

Iv been tempted many times to get some tints done but unless I could do it legally then now I'm not going to do it (n) the police are hot on it around my way just give them a reason to stop you and that's your lot and TBO that's the Law and its there for a reason I have also been told by a shop owner that does tinting that if its done and a driver gets pulled then the police will go back to the tinter and give him some aggro and in some cases they have had their tinting business closed down it looks cool but is it worth the aggro.

Go for the medium tints as with the dark rear they do not stand out that you have had them done to much, does help in the sun to(y)

I personally would have preferred limo black for back 3 and medium front. But imade the choice of dark back, medium for 2 back and light for front too keep on the legal side :D Tints most suited on metallic cars :p
