144k on my '98 Sei Sporting

41k on my '95 Punto S (bought this 3 months ago from local retired vicar given up driving due to age - 1 owner from new FSH etc)

Well I actually have a mate with a mk1 escort he's had since he was 22, that's got something around 280,000 on the clock and still going strong, it's his daily driver of all things! He actually changes the oil every 2,000 miles too

My cinquecento has 61k on it and runs like clockwork

Engine can last at least 1,000,000km if you change oil as per schedule and use good fuel.

Just got a like for my comment and thought I'd add this...

...my Fizz at Radio Norfolk miles. ;)

Three fire engine fiats so far :)

First was a 2002 Punto 1.2, poverty special, brought at 18 months old and 12k, during ownership needed 2 headgaskets, sold in 2010 with 168k with no problems apart from sounding a little like a bag of pennies in a tumble dryer [emoji6]

Next Panda pop 2012, brought new, sold in 2015 with 89k on clock.

Third another panda pop, brought 2015, currently at 12.5k and still breaking in [emoji4]

Back in 2014, my parents traded in their then 14 year old Punto 1.2 8v with 68k on the clock, mechanically it was sweet as a nut, just starting to get a bit tatty due to age.

A week later, I traded in my 2004 Punto 1.2 8v with 60k on the clock, due to a potentially expensive PAS fault, but the rest of the mechanicals were perfect.

My Grande Punto 1.4 8v now has 59,500 on the clock, and is still absolutely fantastic to drive: steering, gearbox, brakes, and engine all good. Hopefully, I'll be able to eke another 7 years out of it. :)

My FIRE engine is a 1.2 8v in an '05 Panda Dynamic.. 109,700 miles this week..

Not that I know much about engines etc, but my uncle reckons it runs like clockwork and to be fair it is pretty consistent sounding, never 'missing a beat'.

At the age of 11, it burns no oil and as far as I'm aware its the only 'not new' car in the family to proudly not do that! That's with a seeping oil rocker cover (fixing it in due course) and a minor gear box oil leak!

I'll be so disappointed if FIAT discontinue the FIRE engine in the next couple of years, although it seems like its day has come in business terms. If I wasnt saving for a house deposit and starting university I'd be buying a 2015 POP with the 1.2 as its so damn reliable!

My Grande must have a leak somewhere: it seems to use a bit of oil over the last few months. Something to get checked at MOT and service next year, along with rustproofing!

My poor old '87 4x4 has 190k on the clock, usual knackered gearbox bearings, original head gasket and leaky cam cover. Still runs well and no sign of imminent failure.
I doubt if it has been well cared for most of its life and in my 14 years of ownership it has worked hard. Tough little engines.
I once has a 1000CL with over 560k on the clock.....

My Original Punto - 2004 '54 Plate Punto Active Sport 1.2 8v was 9 miles from 80,000 when I got crashed into. Was classed as written off, but I see its now back on the road! It 'purred' when it idled sometimes, looking at my dash the needle would go up and down between 1000 and 500rpm. Tried everything to figure out what the issue was but it was fine when going along!

My brother (show a mechanic) had a look at my new 2016 Punto Easy+ 1.2 8v and he says its also a FIRE engine? if so, I'm on 160 miles so far :)
